Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 05.10.2026

At Socialist we believe everyone is entitled to use our service with dignity, equality and ease. We work to make the site and the product accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Service Accessibility Regulations, 5773-2013 (including regulation 35, which governs the accessibility of internet services).

Accessibility level of this site

The site is built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 ("Web Content Accessibility Guidelines") at level AA, which is based on the international WCAG guidelines, and we keep testing and improving accessibility on an ongoing basis. Accessibility adaptations implemented on the site include:

  • Full keyboard navigation across the site, with a clear visible focus indicator and no keyboard traps.
  • A "skip to main content" link that appears on the first Tab press and bypasses the navigation menus.
  • Semantic page structure — hierarchical headings and defined navigation/content landmarks — for screen-reader support.
  • Alternative text (alt) for meaningful images, and clearly labeled form fields.
  • Correct language and text-direction settings on every page (Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right).
  • Color contrast that meets the requirements, and plain, clear language.
  • Responsive layout for desktop and mobile, supporting text scaling without loss of function.
  • Animations respect the user's reduced-motion preference, and all motion can also be stopped via the accessibility button.

The accessibility button

In addition to the built-in adaptations, every page shows a floating accessibility button that lets you adjust the display to your needs. Preferences are saved in your browser only and apply to future visits:

  • Two levels of text enlargement
  • High-contrast mode
  • Underlined link highlighting
  • Stopping animations and motion
  • Increased text spacing for comfortable reading

Accessibility arrangements in the service

Socialist is an online-only service with no physical customer reception — so no physical accessibility arrangements are applicable for publication.

Customer service is provided in writing (email and the contact form), a channel that is also accessible to anyone who finds phone communication difficult. If you have difficulty using any part of the service, we will gladly assist personally and offer an alternative way to receive the service.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. As of this statement's update date: AI-generated video content produced for clients does not currently include automatic captions (captions can be added when publishing, using the social network's own tools); and in a few places in the interface, accent-colored text on a light background of a similar hue falls slightly below the required contrast ratio (automated check, 05.10.2026). We are working on these areas.

If you encounter an inaccessible component that is not listed here — please let us know and we will address it.

Accessibility contact: feedback, issues, and accommodation requests

If you encounter an accessibility difficulty on the site, have a suggestion, or need a specific accessibility accommodation in order to receive the service — please contact us:

Email: socialistil2026@gmail.com — please mention "accessibility" in the subject, describe the issue or request, and note the browser/device you used.

You can also reach us via the site's contact page.

Accessibility inquiries are handled with high priority, and we aim to respond within a few business days.

Given the size of our business, the statutory duty to appoint an accessibility coordinator (which applies to employers of 25 or more employees) does not apply to us; accessibility inquiries are handled directly by the service team.
